Writer's block: It is like trying to hold back a tidal wave surging within your soul. The desire to be washed away is burning me. The ruin of my life is smoldering under foot, the ash stings my eyes. Its just ash, only ash in my eyes. I've pulled the Tower card out of the tarot deck of life. Destruction. Rebirth in Death. It amazes me that while my feet are freshly hot upon the coals, I find myself endebted to the destroyer. I bow at better feet. My shackles were broken in the downfall, my chains cut in the aftermath. For once, for once in five long years, I am free...my life is mine to live, and I am mine and mine alone.
